Respawn Entertainment and EA are set to bring one of the most popular Battle Royale shooters on the market to mobile devices later this week, asApex Legendsgears up for an official release on iOS and Android.
Although classic legends such as Octane, Bangalore, Lifeline, and more are set to return in the mobile version ofApex Legends, fans might be disappointed to learn that there will be a limited lineup on launch. With the console and PC version ofApex Legendscurrently having 21 playable characters, further legends will likely join the mobile version in the future.

However, the developers have confirmed that mobile players will receive a brand new and exclusive legend known as Fade. Also known as the “Phasing Punisher”, Fade will have the ability to flashback to previous locations, send other legends into a void, and slipstream speed burst.

Apex Legends Mobile: Crossplay Status Explained
Similar to the console and PC version ofApex Legends, the mobile version will still be completely free-to-play. However, the developers have confirmed via an FAQ that it willNOTfeature any form of crossplay between the other versions of the Battle Royale.
