Among Ushas released a new teaser pointing to a potentialDestiny 2crossover. The suggestive visuals and Destiny 2 elements could be the beginning of the new collaborations that developer Innersloth detailed in its2023 roadmap for Among Us.

Among Us, for those unfamiliar, launched in 2018 as a social deduction game requiring players to accomplish different tasks and identify the imposter among themselves. To become a winner, a player must be the last one standing after secretly killing all the crewmates one after another. The game recorded high traffic, especially during the pandemic, as it was one of the entertaining streams for friends amid lockdowns.

Past crossovers involving Among Us, including the likes ofFall GuysandFortnite, allowed players to clad crewmate cosmetics and skins in the games. A few hours ago, Among Us teased its possible newest crossover through a statement on its official Twitter account. While there was no mention of the crossover or its launch, it showed silhouetted beans and an “eyes Up, crewmate” text akin to the “eyes up, guardian” line at the start of the Destiny 2 game.

Besides the suggestive tweet responses, the mention of a “fireteam” on the tweet also seemed to point toward the Destiny 2 six-man squad. Players have already started taking guesses at what Destiny 2 skins will be coming to Among Us, like Osiris, Exo Stranger, Saint-14, and Empress Caiatl. Remember that these aren’t confirmed, but players seem persuaded by the tweet shown below.

It’s worth noting that Among Us players get to customize their crewmates' appearance at the beginning of the game. The customization includes downloading mods, changing their color, and letting them wear clothing and headpieces. So, seeing beans donning what looks like a variation of Destiny 2 armor should not be surprising. Of particular interest in the crossover tease is whetherInnerslothwould double down and add a Destiny-inspired map since it also teased plans of releasingnew maps this year.

In the meantime, Among Us players will have to wait for further details regarding the tease or possible crossover. Luckily, a new ‘Hide & Seek’ mode and the Among US VR brings a new experience enough to keep players busy. Similarly, Destiny 2 players are looking forward to theupcoming Lightfall DLC.
