Many of us at this stage have had a shot at developer InnerSloth’s hottest game at the moment,Among Us. Whether you’re lying through your teeth to your teammates as the imposter or trying to figure out who took out orange in electrical,Among Usis a great way to come together with friends and forgot about the chaos of the world for a while. As we’ve seen time and time again, the gaming community is massively talented. There’s seriously no bounds to their creative ways of experimenting either through art, cosplay, or expressing themselves with video game music. Which leads me nicely onto this amazing video that combines a mashup ofAmong Ussounds to the tune ofTetris. Enjoy!
T1lted, a Youtuber who specializes in memes and all thingsAmong Us, has created a video that takes sound samples fromAmong Usand carefully arranges them to form the perfectTetrissoundtrack. The amount of work T1lted has put into this video to get every single sound precise and correct is outstanding - I don’t even want to know how many hours it took them, a lot though is my guess. As you can see from the video below, T1lted took sound samples from in-game tones like doors closing, filling canisters, vent’s shutting, codes being entered, and even put together a funny clip ofAmong Uscharacters falling like the blocks fromTetris. All in all, it comes together so well and that tune is a banger.
However, T1lted did state that even though all the sound samples do come from the game, one synth bass was added by them to give the musical tone a little extra. you’re able to check out T1lted’s YouTube channelright herefor moreAmong Usshenanigans. In some otherAmong Usnews, we heard last week that the game’s developer, Innserlsoth, announced that they’vecanceled plans for the sequeland will keep improving on the original game. In a post on their website, the developer said that they’re cancelingAmong Us 2and focusing on making the original game even better. “We have decided to cancelAmong Us 2and instead put all our focus into improvingAmong Us 1,” said the developer in a statement. “All of the content we had planned forAmong Us 2will instead go intoAmong Us 1. This is probably the more difficult choice because it means going deep into the core code of the game and reworking several parts of it. We have lots of things planned and we’re excited to bring new content to everyone as you continue to enjoy playing.”
Among Usis available now on PC, iOS, and Android.
