This particular bit of trivia concerned Isabela Merced, whose character owes one major story beat to the Naughty Dog’s blockbuster video game.

Fede Álvarez decided to venture into the depths of Reddit to interact with fans about his film. However, moderators of the subreddit decided it was probably in the best interest of the thread to ban the director.

Taking toX, the director revealed the hilarious situation. Following the confirmation, the director’s account was immediately restored. Álvarez took the whole thing in jest, being grateful to the community moderators for running such a tight ship.
