Actor Shameik Moore is under fire again for fueling rumors about another engaged actress fromSpider-Man: Homecoming. He was thoroughly criticized on social media just a couple of weeks ago for doing the same with Hailee Steinfeld. But Moore responded to those rumors on Comic Con saying it was never his intention to imply something like that.
In fact, he apparently had a terrible weekend because of those rumors. Currently, though, he is being scrutinized for a video he posted on his TikTok account which featured an actress from MCU’sSpider-Mancast, who, too happens to be engaged. What has intensified the situation even more was the actress’ response to said video.

It seems like actor Shameik Moore cannot catch a break this year, whether by destiny or design. Earlier this month he was in hot water with the internet after he posted acryptic message on Xfollowing hisSpider-Man: Into The Spider-VerseandSpider-Man: Across The Spider-Verseco-starHailee Steinfeld’sengagement announcement on Instagram. Many linked that message to Steinfeld’s engagement withJosh Allen, and Moore’s seeming heartbreak over losing a chance with his co-star.
However, denying the rumors, he claimed during Comic-Con thathe had a terrible weekend due to those rumors. Unfortunately for him, just a couple of weeks after that, he has landed himself in trouble again. A few days ago, he posted a video on his TikTok account featuring him and actress Laura Harrier fromSpider-Man: Homecoming. The pair were caught in the video standing together and taking pictures during a party.

He initially also posted the same on X with the caption,“coming soon”along with a music emoji, but later deleted it. Laura Harrier, who played Liz Tooms inSpider-Man: Homecoming, however, seems less than pleased with the whole ordeal. And she took to her TikTok account to present her opinion on the matter loud and clear. Harrier began the video by saying although she doesn’t speak on that app, this situation compelled her to do so.
Laura Harrier has explained that she’s engaged and asked Shameik Moore to take down his post that included her.“I asked him ‘hey can you take this down? She noted that she knows people do many things as PR stunts or for attention, but disrespecting other people or their opinion on a matter is not right. According to her, she first got to know of that video through a friend who sent her the TikTok post. She found Moore posting that video weird because one, it is a year old, and two, she did not care for what that video might insinuate.
I keep seeing all these videos that I’m being tagged in with another actor. People speculating what that is, and it’s really annoying me. Because, I’m literally engaged, and that’s important to me.
She further explained that she and Moore are not close at all, however, she texted him after seeing the video. According to the clip, she asked him to take the video down, but it is still there and it is annoying her even more. She further stated,
I’m literally getting married and I don’t like this insinuation that there is something going on between us if that was your intention. Um, and it’s still up, which is fking weird. You’re a fking weirdo.
She then repeated her dislike for the situation and said she possibly shouldn’t even be talking about it. Nonetheless, she chose to do it anyway as this is something really important to her.
