Set in a strange Wonderland of grimoires, Alice Escaped is a 2D Metroidvania game that introduces familiar Alice in Wonderland characters such as the Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat, as well as Humpty Dumpty, each having their own story backgrounds. The upcoming action game follows the story of Usada and Kotora, the pair who will begin their journey to return to their world after finding a mysterious girl named Alice. Players will discover Alice’s identity, as well as the reason why everyone is trapped in the game’s world.

Usada and Kotora are two friendly girls who wield different types of weapons and specialize in unique combat styles. Going into more detail, Usada wields a giant hammer to apply powerful melee attacks at close range. Kotora, on the other hand, uses a submachine gun to take down the opponents before they get too close. Players can switch between two characters to experience diverse combat, which allows players to create electrifying combos with different skills. Additionally, killing enemies refills the Chance Gauge, an energy meter to which fighting game enthusiasts will be well-accustomed. Players can perform supporting and ultimate attacks to pile on hits during combos after the gauge is jam-packed.
