The Penguin, at the end of the day, is the second installment in a superhero franchise. However, unlike the MCU, Matt Reeves has proven that just because the characters he is working with come from the pages of DC, does not mean they cannot be adapted into pure cinema.

Matt Reeves, and the various directors behind the episodes ofThe Penguinhave managed to create a narrative that is rich with meaning and shot with thecreativity that one might expect from a Scorsese or a Tarantino film. This is best seen in the clothing and drapery throughout Episode 6 ofThe Penguin.
Sofia Gigante might not have it in herself to torture Francis or Victor
Throughout the episode, Francis Cobb, Sophia Gigante, and Eve are draped or surrounded by leopard prints, especially in relation to Sofia. Constantly garbed in leopard prints, which is reflected in some scenes, especially with Francis Cobb, the implication is that whenever there are leopard spots in play, and Sophia is not going to be the one causing any sort of damage. This indicates, that now that she has found Victor and Francis, she will not be the one torturing or killing either of them. This was cleverly put byu/throwawayyyback:
There are some other implications of the clothing, given that Francis wears a leopard-printed dress as well. This could either mean that she is safe and it is Victor who is going to be killed, or it could mean that she is marked for death by the narrative at Sofia’s hands, while Victor is going to be a much bigger part of the Batman universe.

The Batman- Part IIcould be introducing a villain teased in the episode
Due to the lack of power in this episode ofThe Penguin, there is a lot of focus on how cold it has gotten in Gotham. WhileMatt Reeveshas said that more fantastic Batman villains might not have a place in his universe, there is a possibility that these characters could be adapted to be more human and less fantastic.
The Penguin Theory: Dr. Julian Rush isn’t Real, Just a Figment of Imagination of Cristin Milioti’s Sofia Falcone
With the level of foreshadowing that works inThe Batmanuniverse, it is possible that the character that audiences see in the sequel would be Mister Freeze. Perhaps the film could depict him as someone with extreme albinism, working a job that requires him to be around ice and low temperatures, like fisheries or the meat industry where things need to be kept on ice. This could be a disgruntled scholar of Gotham, given that we have seen how the elite treat competent people in this setting, which could be the doctor’s background that the character usually has.
The Penguincan be streamed on Max.
