Ubisoft has been one of the world leaders in making successful video games ever since its foundation. But over the past few years, the gaming giant has been making new instalments for the same game franchise again and again.
This decision has made many fans disappointed at the event of any new Ubisoft game that has been either aFar Cry, Assassin’s Creed, or a Watchdoginstalment.On the other hand, Ubisoft has some hidden masterpieces in their attics that could bring a fresh wave of games for the company that could hit those nostalgic vibes among players.
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell

TheSplinter Cellseries has been one of the most successful gaming series for Ubisoft ever since its inaugural launch in 2002. The series has seven instalments under its banner, the last one beingSplinter Cell: Blacklistreleased all the way back in 2013.
All the games in the series have got great reviews during its time and, astonishingly, there has been no development of a new AAA game.
Though Ubisoft has confirmed an upcoming VR game for the series, it is not what the hardcore fans of the series truly want.
Prince of Persia
Prince of Persiawas the title that made sure Ubisoft games became a household studio during the mid-1990s.
The popular 2D platformer made a jump into the 3D era during the early 2000s and gave several hits in the form ofPrince of Persia: Warrior within,Sands of time, and Two thrones.
AfterForgotten Sands, the management went ahead in an entirely different direction producing various spin-offs for the mobile and handheld consoles.
Recently, Ubisoft announced the remake ofSands of Timeas PlayStation 4 exclusive receiving severe backlash from the community as they demanded a new separate reboot.
Rayman Series

TheRaymanseriessky-rocketed to fame during the early Playstation and Playstation 2 era in the form of Rayman 1,2 & 3. The last instalment in the franchise wasRayman: Legendsreleasing way back in 2013.
Similar toPrince of Persia, the direction completely changed as it started producing various spin-offs and small mobile games.

Driverhas been one of the decently performing titles for Ubisoft during the early 2000s. The game was known for its unique gameplay elements and over-the-top shenanigans.
The last gameDriver: San Franciscoreceived great reviews and continues to be one of the unique racing games with a compelling story element.
It is still unclear why Ubisoft has still not looked into this franchise since the 2011 outing.
Call of Juarez

Currently, the game is not listed with the franchise, but it deserves a place seeing its glory days under the publishing giants.
The title was unique due to its arcade-style shooting mechanics and creative storylines and also had four releases under its belt throughout the years with the last one in 2013Call of Juarez: Gunslinger.
