Some shows allow for multiple watches without ever getting stale. Gilmore Girls follows the lives of the inhabitants of Stars Hollow and is such a show.
I know many a person who watches the entire showat leastonce a year, especially when the days get shorter, and the trees become a multitude of colors.

9 Best Movie Tie-in Video Games
For every twenty terrible movie tie-in games, there is at least one that manages to be a pretty good time.
It’s such a cozy show, and just like thebest cozy game, it can calm even the most frantic person. But what if you feel the urge to be a bit more active and play a game rather than watch a show?

Well, these games are for you.
Each entry focuses on a different aspect of Gilmore Girls, from coffee to news reporting. As such, they’re not ranked per se, but more a collection of different options.
10Beyond Good & Evil
If You Want To Be A Reporter Like Rory
Beyond Good & Evil - 20th Anniversary Edition
Becoming an investigative journalist has been a dream of Rory’s since her earliest childhood, and inBeyond Good & Evil, you get to experience what that would be like, if there was a slightly laxer law on punching people.
In Beyond Good & Evil, you play as Jade, an action reporter, whose camera-taking skills are central to the gameplay and plot.

Alongside Pey’j, her best friend, who alsohappens to be a boar, Jade has to work out the mysteries of the DomZ aliens and the military dictatorship of Alpha Sections.
So a bit higher stakes than The Life and Death Brigade, but no umbrellas to catch you if you fall in this game.

9Bear and Breakfast
If You Want To Run An Inn Like Lorelai
Bear and Breakfast
In Bear and Breakfast, you play a bear called Hank who wants to run, surprisingly, and B&B.
Similar to Lorelai, you quickly take on a lot more than you’re able to handle, having to balance repairing the dilapidated B&B, alongside attracting customers with more money and more sophisticated tastes.

There’s even a cooking minigame, so you may practice your inner Sookie to create gourmet dishes such as peach cobbler and Potato Pierogi.
Just make sure you keep the kitchen areas clear of the bedrooms, otherwise the customers might be off put by all the muffled cursing and shouts of ‘behind’! Oh wait, wrong Bear.
8Life is Strange
If You Want To Experience Americana
Life is Strange
InLife is Strange(LiS), you’ll experience both the relatable and supernatural occurrences of Max Caulfield, a student in high school, who alsohas time-travel powers.
Arcadia Bay reminds me of Stars Hollow in terms of the ‘everyone knows everyone’ mentality of a small town, alongside the lush environments and rich colors.
If Gilmore Girls was ever remade into animation, I’d like to think that they’d pick a similar style to LiS. The watercolors really showcase the slower, more thoughtful and idyllic feelings of somewhere like Stars Hollow.
There’s also just enough mystery and danger under the surface which follows any small town.
7Princess Peach: Showtime!
If You Want To Help With The Theater Like Luke, or Lorelai
Princess Peach: Showtime!
In Princess Peach: Showtime! you play as Peach, who has been locked in the Sparkle Theatre, losing her crown.
To get it back, you need to progress through many different stages, utilizing a sentient ribbon called Stella to create costumes for you to use, from Kung Fu Peach to Mermaid Peach. I’m sure Lorelai would have appreciated the help.
Each stage showcases a different genre of gameplay associated with the costume, and while there isn’t a ‘socially angry but overall kind-hearted man making props using carpentry' stage, I do feel like Kirk would at least dress up as Mighty Peach.
6The Sims 4
If You Want To Make Emily Gilmore’s House
The Sims 4
InThe Sims 4, the latest of the long-running simulation series, you can go two routes to simulation – either by creating characters and living a life or getting your inner interior designer out to create the house of your dreams.
If you’ve watched Gilmore Girls, there’s plenty of inspiration for house design, from the cozy Dragonfly Inn to the classy and elegant house owned by Emily and Richard Gilmore.
10 Best Cozy Games With Infinite Replayability
Play, beat, repeat!
With a pool house that’s bigger than my current flat, and all the trimmings expected from the upper class, including many drinks tables and columns, you could spend a good while getting into the nitty-gritty of representing this house.
Or why notmake the entirety of Star’s Hollowfrom the bandstand to the lake and recreate the infamous lake fall of Jess?
If You Want To Experience Small-Town Life
Similar to LiS,Lakeis all aboutsmall-town life(and also set in Oregon like LiS), with the player character this time being a forty-something software developer called Meredith, returning home after 20 years to take a break from her hectic career.
Once home, she decides to pick up her father’s job as a mail carrier after he retires, with the game mostly revolving around delivering, well, mail, to the residents of the town, talking to them and developing relationships with them.
There’s a branching dialogue system, and if LiS gives you a good view of Rory’s experiences in high-school, this game will help you get into Lorelai’s shoes, with everyone knowing her from when she was young.
4Unpacking
If You Want To Experience Moving House
In Gilmore Girls, the home is special. Lorelai’s home, Rory’s university apartments, Emily and Richard’s mansion and even Luke’s rooms at the back of the café are all iconic and hold so many memories.
Unpacking is a game that takes those memories and forces them to the forefront of your mind as you unpack a girl’s life throughout her many moves.
You can see how she’s grown up, what she’s kept and what she’s left behind. All the while having the Gilmore Girl’s theme song on repeat, if you so wish.
3Rock Band
If You Want To Be In A Band Like Lane
Rock Band 4
Who hasn’t watched the musical performances of Lane and her band and thought I’d like to do that too? Well, with games likeRock Band, you can.
In Rock Band, you take up the mantle of the world’s best drummer, guitarist or singer and get to work, ‘improving’ the hits with your rhythmic and perfect-pitch powers.
Unfortunately, you can’t make your own songs in the game, but being able to go through at least some of the legendary artists that Lane idolizes should be enough to tide you over before the gang come over for another garage band session.
2Hogwarts Legacy
If You Want To Experience Uni Life Like Rory
Hogwarts Legacy
Fextralife Wiki
Some would say that Rory has a privileged experience at university, and the only people who wouldn’t are the Logans of the world. Still, she can’t practice magic, can she?
EnterHogwarts Legacy, where you can finally receive your letter to Hogwarts and study there in the 1800s.
Brew potions, learn spells and just spend time walking the iconic halls of the most famous wizarding college, alongside foiling anevil plot as The Chosen One.
You could even create your favorite Gilmore Girls character in the character creator, and imagine how they would live in the Wizarding World – Rory would definitely be in Gryffindor, even if Slytherin is more suited, just like The Boy Who Lived.
1Coffee Talk
If You Want To Open A Coffee Shop Like Luke
Coffee Talk
Coffee Talkis what would happen if Luke, well, talked to his customers. And if the customers were fantasy monsters.
In this visual novel, you control a barista who listens to the inhabitants of a fantasy version of Seattle while preparing their drinks.
More than just the plain coffee served at Luke’s there are drinks from all over the world, including Teh Tarik from Malaysia, Shai Adeni from Yemen or even Cough Syrup.
Unlike in Luke’s, phones also play a big part in the game, with you being able to check your client’s social media, reference a list of drinks recipes and read the local news.
10 Best Cozy Games With Zero Hand-Holding
Even cozy games can be mysterious and obtuse.
